Digital Humanities Research Collaboration
Sub-project 3a – Infrastructure
The Digital Humanities are using new forms of collaborative research and adapting new technologies and digital methods in traditional and new research areas. Therefore, the coordination of a sustainable infrastructure within the field of Digital Humanities is essential for its success. The objectives of TP3a - Infrastructure focus on two main areas:
Concept of a sustainable and comprehensive research infrastructure:
- Integration and adaptation of existing infrastructure components
- Combination of different components, from core services to specialized tools
- Mapping, organization, management of infrastructure components
Data Management
- Data models and ontologies
- International standards and best practices
- Long-term archiving and data management plans
- Data Policies
