Developer, Digital Humanities Research Collaboration

In late 90's he started his career in Iran as Network Administrator, Software Developer, Tech-Support and Computer Tutor in both Student Research Center of the Medical University of Tehran(SSRC) and in a Medical Logistics Software Company called Rayavaran Co.. After coming to Germany in the early 2000's, he studied at the University of Applied Science in Cologne finishing with a major in Computer Hardware (Diploma). During these years working as a student he started specializing in front-end development based on usual suspects such as Visual Basic, PHP, Javascript, XML, Yii-Framework and Content Management Systems like Typo3, WordPress and Joomla!. He kept on practicing and working in other languages and platforms including Assembly, C, Java and Python and Database Management Systems such as MySQL, SQLite, Oracle and PostgreSQL and got in touch with Ruby on Rails and the Zend Framework. Working as a graduate Computer Engineer in State- and University Library of Goettingen provided him with the opportunity to explore the world of the Digital Humanities in which he is currently working. Semantic Web, Search & Index, Repositories, Messaging, Data-Mining and many more are all part of this new world, which he chose to base his future career on. He is currently doing a part-time Master of Computer Science parallel to his work at the Open University of Hagen.
