Abstract: Matthew Munson presented here his work on detecting stylistic differences among ancient translators of texts from Greek and Hebrew into Latin.  The first experiment presented was one to determine whether stylometrics could be used to determine whether St. Jerome translated the whole Greek New Testament into Latin or only the Gospels.  The second was an experiment to discover whether stylometrics could show whether St. Jerome or Rufinus of Aquileia was a truer translator of Origen of Alexandria, a Christian theologian of the 3rd century.
